Rachel Chohlidakis, MD

About

Dr. Maria Rachel Torralba Chohlidakis completed her medical degree in the Philippines at FEU -NRMF. She completed her pediatric residency at Manila Doctors Hospital before moving to the United States. She again completed another residency in Pediatrics at the University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey.

After her residency, she practiced at Lassen Medical Group in Red Bluff, California before finally relocating to Las Vegas to join Desert Valley Pediatrics.

Dr. Chohlidakis has been recognized with several awards including most outstanding intern at Polymedic General Hospital, and outstanding performance in achievement in continuity clinic at UMDNJ.

Dr. Chohlidakis also published a research paper in the Philippine Infectious Disease Society Journal about breast milk that one several awards including a poster presentation.

Dr. Rachel, as she is commonly called by her patients, believes in comprehensive care to meet the overall needs and potential of each child. She strongly believes in nutrition as part of crucial preventive care for children. She enjoys playing pickleball and playing with her two dogs.

She’s married to a talented artist/Potter.
