About
Hailing from Chicago and its suburbs, Dr. Pamela Greenspon has lived in Las Vegas since 2004. She attended Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut, and received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. She concluded her premedical studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago and then received her M.D. at Northwestern University Medical School. After interning at Lutheran General Children’s Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois, she moved to Atlanta, Georgia to train as a pediatric resident at Emory University. Upon completion of her residency, she moved to Connecticut and worked in a small practice for five years before settling in Las Vegas with her husband and two children.
She has worked at Desert Valley Pediatrics since 2009 and enjoys providing comprehensive care for her patients and their families. She has served the community in a variety of roles. She was the Department Chair of Pediatrics at Southern Hills Hospital, and she has held many positions with the Nevada Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). She has served as the Chapter Breastfeeding Coordinator and Walk with A Doc Physician Leader. She was on the Executive Committee for eight years as the Secretary/Treasurer, Vice-President, President, and Immediate Past President. Her professional interests include breastfeeding, obesity, and preventive medicine, and Dr. Greenspon loves seeing patients of all ages.
Dr. Greenspon enjoys spending time hiking, improvising, cycling, doing yoga, reading, traveling, walking her dog, and learning about other cuisines and traditions.
